ProverbatauPeribahasaadalah sekumpulanpetuah atau wejangan bagaimana dalam menjalani kehidupan yang bermakna. Pada umumnya proverb menggunakan majas/bahasa kiasan di balik makna sebenarnya.

Meaning : A person who helps you when you really need help is a true friend.

[Teman sejati adalah seseorang yang selalu ada ketika kamu membutuhkannya]

2) Great talkers are little doers

Meaning : Most of the people who talk a lot and are always teaching others is usually do not do much work

[Tong kosong bunyinya nyaring. Orang-orang yang banyak ngomong dan selalu mendikte orang lain biasanya praktiknya nihil]

3) It's never too late to mend

Meaning : You're never too old to change your way. Learning is always possible.

[Nggak ada kata terlambat untuk belajar dan memperbaiki diri menjadi lebih baik. Bahwa sesungguhnya manusia dilahirkan untuk terus belajar selama hidupnya.

Meaning : You can not only depend on divine help but must do something yourself to get what you want.

[Jangan hanya mengandalkan bola datang, berusahalah mengejarnya sampai dapat. Bahwa sesungguhnya Allah meridhoi orang-orang yang mau bekerja keras atas rezeki mereka]

[Orang yang tidak pernah bersyukur, akan selalu merasa kurang dan kurang sampai pada suatu masa mereka menyadari kehilangannya]
