• Pada umumnya menggunakan kata sambung “than” (daripada).
• Pada umumnya berakhiran (suffix) -er pada kata sifat yang digunakan untuk membandingkan.
• Pada umumnya menggunakan kata intensifier “more” sebelum kata sifat yang berarti “lebih”.
