Dear Pipit,It has been such a long time since the last time I saw you. So far my holiday in North Sumatra was great.


I spent two days in a wonderful hotel near Lake Toba. Lake Toba's stunning beauty is beyond words to describe. It took almost 6 hours to reach Parapat from Medan's Kuala Namu Aiport and another 30 minutes to Samosir Island but it's worth the long journey. It's a pity we only stayed for 1 night at Samosir Island before proceeding to Barastagi. There's no doubt I want to go there again sometime in the future.

I hope your vacation has been going well for you too. There is only a week left of Eid ul Fitr vacation and after that we are back to school. Would you like meet up sometime before school starts?
