My suggest u must ask her/his what's her/his favorite item but if u don't want to ask ,that no problem because some your friends think if that look like spoiler the suprising for her/his ,your teacher gonna shock because your teacher will think why asking about this or it dont ever if my students ask about this. For me u can gift her/his a wallets, watches, clothes, books and etc . And activity you can do during a party ,a games about lesson or guess what is that,talk about what your teacher will do for future and etc and about the place ,maybe u all can choose at cafee or at home your teacher ,if is she/he allow it ! and etc.
