2. Because the villagers thought that Ang-ngalo could help them cross the sea with his leg to get them to the mountain of salt across the sea.
3. He went to the other side of the and sat by its shore. He then extended his leg which reached the island where the villagers waited. They used his leg as a bridge.
4. Because his leg was full of ants and they were biting it which made his leg burning.
5. The villagers fell into the sea together with their bags and pails of salt when Ang-ngalo lifted and dipped his leg in the water to get rid of the ants. The dissolved salt made the sea salty.
