Jawaban dan Penjelasan

Berikut ini adalah pilihan jawaban terbaik dari pertanyaan diatas.

"This time it turned into a lake."

The underlined word refers to Timun Emas's dressing that have turned into the lake.

A short Explanation:

If we comprehensively re-read the story, we know that her parents gave Timun Emas "Weapons". One of them were cucumber seeds that turned into many vines of cucmber, to distract Buto Ijo.

One of the weapons was the bamboo needles that turned into dense bamboo trees. And for the final weapon, she threw her dress that turned into a lake. And finally, when Buto Ijo was just about to caught Timun Emas, she threw her salt. That quickly became an ocean. Drowning and killing Buto Ijo.

Basically, the farmers which are Timun Emas's parents wanted a child. They did so by asking Buto Ijo for one. He granted their wish but under one condition, after Timun Emas reached adulthood, she must be taken and be eaten by Buto Ijo. The parents agreed.

So, when Timun Emas reached adulthood, the parents gave Timun Emas weapons, which I explained earlier. So that's basically the whole story of Timun Emas.
