Karena aturannya seperti ini contoh bila frase dalam kalimat langsung adalah Simple present maka frase tidak langsung nya adalah Simple past. Contoh We are busy menjadi we were busy.

Kemudian waktu atau timeword juga berubah. Contoh today dalam direct speech akan menjadi that day pada indirect speech. Time word tomorrow akan berubah menjadi the next day. Dan begitu seterusnya. Semoga membantu
