vacation to Spain. They went by car. It was very

hot. "Can I have something to drink, Mom?"

Max said, "I'm thirsty." "Sorry. We don't have

any more soft drinks. We can stop in the next

town and get some." After half an hour Dad

stopped the car and took some pictures.

Max opened the car door and walked

around. After five minutes he came to

small lake. Max was very thirsty. So he

went to the lake and drank some water

Then they went back to the car and

After an hour they came to a town. They had

dinner there, but Max didn't eat anything. He

felt sick. He had a stomachache.

The next day Max was very sick. They went to

the doctor's and the doctor gave Max some pills.

Poor Max felt sick for three days. Max said to his

parents, "I drank water from the lake.

I was very silly."
