MY VACATION

On my new year vacation, me and my family went to Jakarta. We got there by car from Sukabumi. It took around likely 3 hours. It wasn't too long but slept all the way into Jakarta in my car because we left from home at night and i got very sleepy.
On the first day of our vacation, me and family visited my grandma's house. I eaten a lot food and cookie in my grandma's house. My grandma loves to cook. So, me and my brother often helped her to make dinner for our family. The food we made was very delicious.
On the next day, my dad took us to Dufan. We also got there by a car and I saw Ondel-ondel by road on our way to Dufan. At first it looked really scary and my brother were frightened! Ondel-ondel is a large puppet figure featured in Betawi folk performance of Jakarta, Indonesia and are utilized for livening up festivals or for welcoming guests of honor, usually in pairs.
After a couple of minutes, we finally arrived at Dufan. I played and tried a lot of games once I got there. I also bought some street foods. It was delicious and very cheap! One of my favorite part is when i get to try ride the roller coaster. I was so scared at the beginning but it turns out really fun. The least favorite ride is the caraousel because it goes very slow and i get so bored!
I tried and discovered so many things in Jakarta. Sadly, we had to go home after a week. On our way home, we decided to visit Monas. We took a lot of picture there and i met some tourists. We also bought some souvenirs to keep. My vacation was a such a very amazing experience! I hope i could visit Jakarta again next time.
