Orientation

Last week i went to Mount Rinjani. That was the first time I was going to do a mountain climb. I do it together with my friends. We started climbing at 7 pm. The situation was pitch black and we only used a flashlight to find a hiking trail. I do not worry because my friends are professional climbers. I just need to follow their instructions.

Event

We climb slowly and enjoy our time there. After a 7 hour ride, we finally arrived at the top of the mountain. The clock shows 2 o’clock in the morning. It turns out we are not alone. Many people turned out to have reached the top of this mountain before we came. We waited for the sun to rise while cooking food and also making warm drinks to restore our energy. We also sang together, exchanged stories and also met new people who were there. After enjoying the sunrise, we must go home. Going down the mountain is not as difficult as climbing, we only need a little energy and time but we have to do it carefully. However, that experience was the most impressive experience I have had so far.
