John’s job is to develop an aggregate plan.

Regular production = 5400 x 30 = 162,000

stockout cost = 1100 x 150 = $165,000

Hiring atinitial quatoz = 50 x 40 = $2000

162000 + 165000 + 2000 = $329000

The total cost that will be incurred is

subcontracting = 900 x 60 = $54,000
