The story behind the beach's name is quite unique. The beach's name is taken from a restaurant called 'In drayanti', which is also the name of the owner. The restaurant had its name hugely posted in front of the beach.People then referred to this beach as the Indrayanti beach. Although the local government officially naming it Pulang Syawal beach, Indrayanti still become its popular name..

It is quite easy to get to Indrayanti beach because the road leading there is already in good shape. It is good but quite small. The distance between Yogyakarta and Indrayanti beach is around 65.8 km, which means the drive would take around 2 hours. You can see lot of rocky hills along the trip. The beach was good and clean, the situation was very quiet. For a better experience, avoid on weekend because it will be more crowded. There are some street food near the beach with affordable price. Some toilets are also available there.

Kids will love the fish catching, playing with water and just building sand castle. Unfortunately, we can't swim in this beach due to huge waves and rocks underneath the sand will easily hurt the feet.
