• Kalimat pasif ➔ Subjek menerima aksi

• Pola umum kalimat pasif adalah ➔ Be + V3 (Be = is/am/are/was/were)

Contoh:

Active: I sell the bike (aku menjual sepedanya)

Passive: The bike is sold by me (sepeda dijual olehku)

Bisa dilihat objek kalimat aktif the bike (sepeda) berubah menjadi subjek kalimat pasif dan menerima aksi sold (dijual) oleh pelaku aksi me.

• Bentuk bepada kalimat pasif berubah sesuai dengansubjek dan tense yang digunakan.
