Differences between the understanding about Family that aware of nutrient

(KADARZI) Before and After Using the Conseling Method in Sumberejo Village,

Jaken District, Pati Regency.

VI + 75 pages + 16 tables + 3 pictures + 10 appendices

The perspective of nutrient development is the creation of an autonomous family

that aware of nutrient in order to get the status of optimal family nutrient. In order to

create KADARZI behavior, several aspects need to be concerned. These aspects is on any

level that will be the family level, public level, health service level, and govenrmental

level. The promotion of the family that aware of nutrient (KADARZI) is an efort to

increase the family ability by the learning from, by, for and along with the society in

order to know, to avoid and to solve the problem of nutrient in every individual.

Generally, in Central Java province, KADARZI is getting on fluctuation from 2005. But

in Pati region, KADARZI is still on 59,31 %. The purpose of this experiment basically to

understand the difference understanding about KADARZI before and after the use of the

nutrient conseling method.

This kind of the experiment is quasi experiment with pre and posttest design with

control group. The population on this experiment will be the whole families that having

baby under 5 years old in Sumberejo village in amount 98. Sample that are got are 48

respondents. Instrument that are used in form of questioner. The data then will be

processed using Wilcoxon test.

Based on the result data from the experiment , the result of bivariat analysis with

p value 0,0001 that means there will be important differences between the understanding

about KADARZI before and after the nutrient conseling method.

The advices that can be given in term of this experiment for the official are

giving effective, efisien, and continously nutrient conseling to the public, particularly to

the society that having baby under 5 years old or to the mother in every posyandu to make

the public more understand about KADARZI. For the member of posyandu, be advised to

always giving support to the mother that having baby under 5 years old to follow the

conseling of nutrient itself.
