In fact, Koala is not as cute as its looks. At the nature, Koala is afraid of human and when it is approached or touched, it will defence itself by using its sharp claws.

Koala is an herbivore animal that typically inhabits in eucalypt woodlands as the leaves of that tree is the main food for koala.

Because the leaves of the eucalypt have high water content, thus koala does not much water to drink.

Over all, koala may live from 15 to 18 years in the wild.

Mostly, female koala lives longer than male. It is not because the biological factor, but because the male activities that is more hazardous than the female.
