Simple Past Tense adalah bentuk waktu yang digunakan untuk mengungkapkan suatu aktifitas/peristiwa yang dilakukan di masa lampau. Contoh:

• Aku belajar bahasa Inggris kemarin (I studied English yesterday)
• Aku membuat bubur ayam tadi pagi (I made chicken porridge this morning)
