The revelation of the Qur'an The Qur'an is the greatest miracle of God. The Qur'an was first revealed on the seventeenth of Ramadan. God Most High said, “Indeed, We sent it down on the Night of Decree (1) and what makes you know what the Night of Decree is (2) the Night of Decree is better than a thousand months (3) (Surat al-Qadr) The Qur’an was sent down to Muhammad PBUH. In various ways, including by the means of the faithful spirit Gabriel, peace be upon him, he suddenly came to his mind. Or Gabriel swallowed the revelation and then Muhammad imitated it, so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, memorized the revelation. Or Gabriel taught to read it and the Prophet kept reciting it, the Qur’an was revealed gradually. The Qur'an consists of thirty parts, and one hundred and fourteen surahs. The Qur'an was revealed in two periods. The first period before the migration in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, so the scholars called it Meccan, and the second period after the migration to Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, so it was called Madani. God revealed the Qur'an to all people, and guides them to Islam and goodness. So some of them believed, and some disbelieved, every Muslim believed in the Qur’an, so he recites it every day, and some Muslims even memorize the Qur’an

نزول القرآن القرآن أعظم معجزة من الله. أنزل القرآن أول مرة في السابعة عشر من شهر رمضان. قال الله تعلى»إنّا أنزلناه في ليلة القدر (۱) وما أدراك ما ليلة القدر (۲) ليلة القدر خير من ألف شهر (۳) (سورة القدر) أنزل القرآن إلى محمد ص.م. بطرق مختلفة، منها بوسيلة الروح الأمين جبريل عليه السلام، فخطر في ذهنه فجأة. أو بلع جبريل الوحي ثم قلدها محمد، فحفظ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم الوحي. أو علم جبريل قرائتها وداوم النّبي على تلاوته، أنزل القرآن تدريجيا. يتكون القرآن من ثلاثين جزءا، ومائة وأربعة عشر سورة. وأنزل القرآن فترتان. الفترة الأولى قبل الهجرة في مكة المكرمة فسماها العلماء مكية والفترة الثانية بعد الهجرة إلى المدينة المنورة فسماها مدنية. أنزل الله القرآن للناس جميعا، ويهديهم إلى الإسلام والخير. فأمن بعضهم وكفر بعض أمن كل مسلم بالقرآن فيقرأه كل يوم، بل يحفظ بعض المسلمين القرآن
