On the last school holiday, my family and I went to Bali. We went there by
car and it took less than one day to get there from Kediri. We reached in
Bali at night, and then we headed the hotel and checked in. We took a rest
first to get our body and mind fresh for the trip tomorrow.
The next morning, we decided to go to Kuta Beach first. We chose it
because it was not far from our hotel. My sister and I spent the time
swimming at the beach while my parents walking around enjoying the view.
In the afternoon, we went to the nearby restaurant at Kuta Beach to satisfy
our hunger.
After that, we continued our trip to one of the most amazing tourist spot
Tanah Lot. It had astonishing scenery. The wave was quite rough and the
gentle breeze was so refreshing. There was a Balinese Hindu temple called
Pura not far from there. It was great and unique, so we took a lot of pictures
there. In the evening, we went back to the hotel and prepared ourselves for
the next journey.
On the second day, we went to a unique tourist spot which full of monkeys
called Alas Kedaton. Actually, when my sister was about to enter this place,
she felt a little bit afraid. But my father told her that it was okay and safe.
He was right; the monkeys were friendly and would not bite us.
Then we moved to one of the most remarkable tourist spots that I had ever
visited called Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park. That place was vast
and had a couple of gigantic statues. I was wondering how someone could
sculpt such enormous statues. We did not want to miss such an excellent
moment so we took some pictures with the gigantic statues as the
background. Next, we came to a place that looked like an auditorium.
There, we saw a traditional Balinese dance. It was a great dance to see, so
dynamic and intensely expressive. As the day getting dark, we went back
to the hotel.
We used the last day in Bali for shopping, so we went to one traditional
market there called Sukowati. We bought some unique souvenirs as
mementos of our time in Bali. We left the market at about 3 o’clock in the
afternoon. Then we went back to the hotel and packed our bags. We
decided to go home the next morning. It was three wonderful days
experience for me. I hope that I can visit Bali again next time.
