In a house of a rich farmer, there lived a dog and a donkey.

The dog had a job and it was to guard the house from thieves and thugs.

Meanwhile, the donkey had to carry loads for him every day.

One day, they heard some noise outside the farmer house.

But the dog was sleeping under a warm veranda.

He didn’t do anything but lifted up his head for a second and went back to sleep.

“It could be thieves. Why don’t you bark?” said the donkey after hearing the noises.

“Mind your own business,” replied the dog calmly.

Wanted to save his master, the donkey refused to listen and started to bray.

Little did he know, the noises came from their snoring owner.

The donkey who accidentally woke his master up was surprised and felt bad about his action.

Angry, the owner came runnning out with a stick and started to beat the donkey with no mercy.
